Team Members

The summer of 2005 was one of the most devastating hurricane seasons of the last century. In the wake of the hurricanes, many of our Team Members lost their homes and their way of life. As a result, FamilyHOPE was created.

FamilyHOPE is a program that allows Family Dollar Team Members to give financial support to other Family Dollar Team Members impacted by natural disasters, such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, fires, and terrorist acts. Through FamilyHOPE, Team Members impacted by a natural disaster are eligible to submit an application for financial assistance to help them get back on their feet.

A few facts about the FamilyHOPE Fund:

  • This fund only benefits Family Dollar Team Members.
  • 100% of contributions go toward helping our Team Members; the Company pays all administrative fees.
  • We have engaged an independent firm, Foundation For The Carolinas, to manage and administrate this fund. Family Dollar Team Members who submit an application for a grant deal directly with Foundation For The Carolinas. Since Foundation For The Carolinas administers FamilyHOPE, applications are completely confidential. Family Dollar never sees Team Member applications, and no one in the Company contributes to the decision making process for Team Members grants.

Applying for FamilyHOPE

W2 Information

Note: Your 2008 W-2 is now available. Check the "My W-2 today!" link now and contact the HRSC's W-2 Hotline at 1-800-547-0359 with any questions.

Please note: Current and former Family Dollar Team Members must register with Ceridian every year to create a Ceridian User Name and Password. To set up your new password, you will be required to enter certain personal information. Please pay close attention to the instructions when entering this information, as entries are case sensitive. For example, when entering your name it must be entered in UPPER CASE letters, and must match the exact spelling of your name on your last Pay Stub or Direct Deposit slip.
